The artistry of these craftsmen consists of polishing all interior and exterior surfaces of a piece to a brilliant luster through several successive procedures, thus bringing out the full radiance of jewelry creations.
A Van Cleef & Arpels signature, the mirror polish technique imparts an intense gleam to the precious metal.
Polishers carry out several procedures: before and after setting, and again following the final assembly.
They use threads, brushes and large pads spread with polishing paste.
Prerequisites: middle school or high school diploma

Observation
Every surface of the piece is polished: front, back and even areas that will become invisible once the creation is assembled.
